GOALS

 Today in our young women's class we started to talk about how we can strengthen our relationship with our  Heavenly  Father. One of my leaders brought up a very important thought that her mom taught her, "If we want to have a relationship with someone, we have to put forth the effort."  As we applied it to the lesson, we brought up ways we can get closer to  Heavenly  Father.  These included : scripture study, studying the words of the prophets, learning about Christ's life and what he's done for us, serving others, having faith and hope, giving your time, and the one we stressed the most... prayer.  Heavenly  Father is always open to hear our prayers, and just like the process of becoming friends with someone, you need to talk to him to get to know him better. It is one of my goals this year to get to know him better, specifically through prayer. 

In addition to that goal, i am trying to keep a record of my life through this blog.  Thank you for following along!
